Welcome to Shared Vision

Information and networking within the mental health sector

Shared Vision is a body that supports, facilitates and promotes the development of mental health,  “a shared vision for people by people”  through information and networking within the mental health sector and the wider community.

Shared Vision was established in the mid 1990′s aiming to bring together individuals, statutory agencies and key community organisations who all have the role of promoting mental health and gathering information about current issues and concerns. Shared Vision today continues to work along the same lines and believes that mental health is clearly a shared responsibility.

Shared Vision offers:

  • Quarterly seminars covering a range of topics
  • Steering Group Click on to view a list of members
  • Monthly Consumer Network gathering – a safe environment to raise and discuss current and arising issues from a mental health consumer perspective
  • Recovery Conference
  • Feedback to the Waitemata Stakeholder Network
